7 months (May 4th, 2012)

7  Months and he can finally sit up!!  During the 7th month we have hit some fun milestones.....He crawls up to me and pulls up, my husband had to finally lower the crib, he loves to wave his hand in front of his face, he tried puffs for the first time and he seriously loves them, and he can kind of hold his bottle on his own.  He is growing like a weed and we are about to order the next level car seat.  Below are some fun pictures of his adventures learning to sit up on his own!

6 Months (April 4th, 2012)

6 month update from April!!  Jett is on the verge of sitting up but he isn't a big fan of his Bumbo.  On April 30th he began to scoot along, he isn't quite crawling yet.  Here are a few pictures of the 6 months session.

5 Month Update (March 4th, 2012)

Jett got his first two teeth 2 days before he turned 4 months old.  He ate cereal for the first time on February 10th...not much longer after his 4 month bday.  He also began sitting up and sitting in a high chair at this age.  Right after he turned 5 months old we put him in the crib for the first time.  We have the Angle Care monitor system and it eased my fears.  Shawn and I were both so exhausted and I asked him to take care of him...sure enough he picked him up and said he could cry in the nursery (Shawn is REALLY cranky when he doesn't get his sleep).  I thought it was the worst thing he could have done, but Jett acutally did really well and we slept much better without him being at the foot of the bed in his cradle.  It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!  Here are some pictures from 5 months old!

 

Jett is already over 7 months old and I haven't even posted his 4 month pictures yet! Yikes, I guess that is what happens when you are a momma, a wife, trying to start a side business and have a full time job! Whew, life is crazy these days and I am exhausted with bags under my eyes quite often, but I love my life. Jett is growing like crazy and we are loving every minute of it (well maybe not so much when the top row of teeth came in last week). I only have two weeks of school left and then I get to spend the whole summer with my love bug and hopefully by then I can blog more.....but don't hold your breath. :) For now, here are some 4 month pictures.

4 month pics are up next!  Jett has been very busy this month....he got his bottom two front teeth in the last two weeks and he can now roll over.  He barely turned 4 months on the 4th, we like to think that he is super advanced for his age :)  Yesterday was his first day to try rice cereal and he seemed very happy to try something new.  

3 months (January)

Jett's 3 months pictures are below!  He is almost 4 months as I write this post, and he can finally hold his head up on his own!  He can also stand in the walker by himself but he slobbers and drools everywhere!  He has been snotty for about a month now, but the doctors have told us that there isn't much we can do because it's not in his lungs and he isn't running a fever.  Shawn and I think he has really bad allergies.  So, that will be a major topic of discussion at the 4 month appointment. I hate hearing my baby boy struggle to breathe, it is a miserable feeling not being able to help him.  On the more positive side, he is happy and continuously seems to not be bothered by his constant snotty nose.  He is getting SO big, it is amazing how fast time flies!  Last time we weighed him, he was almost 13 pounds! 

He loves to put his hands behind his head, he is like his daddy!  When they go up, we know it's nap time.  :)

I think he was waving at me again!

I just know he was saying, "Yo, what's up?" in a mobster accent!

2 Months (December)

This is WAY late, but better late than ever!!  The further I get in my photography progession, I realize how bad these pictures are....So, I am sorry for the poor pictures. I shake more than I realize.....maybe it's time to get the tripod out!
