We survived the nasty 8th month and we are on to bigger and better things now! Like Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease, woohoo! My baby has never cried soooo much because he didn't feel good. It is such a sickening feeling to have a baby sick and there is absolutely nothing that you can do for them. We went for rides, rocked in the glider, went outside, took tylenol, listened to pandora...........NOTHING worked. My husband was at his wits end and I was too, but I was blessed with more patience than him. He cried for an hour straight and we were all in pure misery. He slobbered more than ever, ran a fever, and had a few spots on his body. I hope we never experience that one again.
On a happier note here were some milestones from the month:
- His bottom 4th tooth starting breaking through
- He kind of began to cruise along the furniture, but not very well
- He LOVES to eat everything in site, this child is not picky
- Mommy had to supplement with a little bit of formula every once in a while because the supply started to run low. I tried herbal supplements and they worked pretty well, but we still did a bottle of formula every now and then.
- Jett began drinking half breast milk and half vitamin D organic milk every once in a while towards the end of the month
